I saw Mr Schellenberg play Joseph Stalin on the stage. He was criticized for not being scary enough. But I thought his performance was very strong in its contained energy. And I will never forget him in "Black Robe". His dilemma as the chief torn between two worlds brought to vivid life the situation First Nations people found themselves in with the arrival of Europeans. May he rest in peace.

My heart aches with your sadness.  A lasting legacy to be sure ..., in time but for now, exhale and let us all do right by him by playing it forward.

Augie, you were a spectacular actor and you will be missed. May you have a peaceful journey in your second life.

I became familiar with Mr. Schellenberg from his appearances on Walker, Texas Ranger.  He was the character he played and I enjoyed seeing him each time.  I still look forward to seeing him in reruns.  He will be missed, but we still have his great work to enjoy for years to come.  Deepest sympathy to all of his family, friends and fans.  I know that he will be there to greet us when we join him at that great teepee in heaven.
