Comments: Sir.Kathi and I had the distinct privilege to have had the opportunity to have met you at the old Washington Mutual Bank.My wife if you recall stated that looks like the gentleman that played in the Free Willy Movies and I believe you stated that you were.You were so kind to have sent an autographed photo to us via the bank officer.It is now hanging in our Home in Mesquite.Kathi hoped you liked the Wayland she sent you at least we hope you received it via the same bank officer.We watched True Heart tonight and we both had tears in our eyes as you are truly a great Actor. We both love your movies and have as many as we can locate.You place so much feeling and emotion in you roles and I truly feel you deserve an Oscar for Bury my Heart At Wounded Knee. Comments: Hi August, Iam writing to thank you for your proformance in the free willy movies we come from Australia and our 4 year old daughter is so in love with the first 2 movies she is showing interest in what the whales do and why and has heaps of photo's of orcas in her room.I like the idea of her liking something that is real even though it is hard to see Orca's in the wild here but we live near Eden which has the old whaling station mueseum and whale watching for humpbacks. Iam glad you made these movies as she would rather watch and learn about this sort of stuff rather than things like Dora the explorer or things that don't really excist. Comments: I've just met August in person front of a small herb store with my family, and being surprised I had nothing meaningful to say, other than trying to convince my daughter that "this is the indian man in Free Willy".  Maybe I should have informed him that he looked just like himself....actually he looked a lot better, very fit, a man of integrity, and fatherly. At home I checked him out on the Internet and saw that his heart is for the children and the indigenous people. I found this website about his heritage, the Metis. It is a good reading about how much better would it be to stop trying to melt each other into the same mold.
