Comments: I can only echo 100% what Dr Ralph Morse said. I will add however I feel for the Lakota as us Scot's were hounded from our country by the English so that they could graze sheep.
Sincerely
Will Bonnie Scotland.

Comments: Dear August
I have just watched your portrayal of Sitting Bull in "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee" and write to say thank you for a deeply sensitive and powerful performance. As far as I know the production has never been shown on British television and have only just obtained a DVD copy.
Without a doubt Dee Brown's work changed my life; so much so that it gave inspiration to a series of plays I was writing on man's inhumanity to man to the point that the work as a whole became known as "The Four Seasons Of Wounded Knee" The second of these plays, "The Ghost Dance" specifically documents Sitting Bull's trip to the Canadian province, the influence of Wovoka and the Ghost Dance religion and culminates with the massacre at Wounded Knee. You can therefore appreciate how enthusiastic I was to see this film. I was not disappointed.
Also I found the true story of Charles and Elaine Eastman added another poignant layer to the tragedy of Wounded Knee.
Lastly, in one of the final frames of the movie, men turn over Big Foot's frozen body and photograph what is to become the picture that many people associate with the massacre. The irony is that even in death the story of the native american is being manipulated.
Thank you August for bringing this story to the screen.
My very best wishes for all your future projects
Ralph
